Reed:Monoliths, 2000, c-print on alu, 115 x 90 cm


In the year 2000, Reed transfers a video copy of Kubrick's “2001 Lost in Space” into digital format. The pictures show single frames of transfer failures (bugs) in the form of black squares – monoliths.
